WHERE ARE THEY NOW: CHILD STARS
Growing up is one of life's inevitabilities. But this truth is most troublesome to one sector of the population: child stars. While some of these moppets become more famous with time , others are never heard from again past puberty. So when a picture of "Jerry Maguire" star Jonathan Lipnicki looking very
grown up surfaced online recently, it got us thinking about some of our favorite long, lost kiddie stars. Keep clicking to catch up with them!
Jonathan Lipnicki
This four-eyed tyke made his film debut at age 6 alongside Tom Cruise and Renee Zellwegger in 1996's "Jerry Maguire." Starring roles in "Stuart Little" and "Like Mike" soon followed.
While the 21 year-old took an extended break from Hollywood, he's ready for his return with two movies in the can: "Tag" and "For the Love of Money." When Jonathan isn't working, he spends his time doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and, as you can guess, lifting weights
Jaleel White
Friday nights in the '90s were not complete without Jaleel, who played nerdy, accident-prone Steve Urkel on "Family Matters." While the part was supposed to be a one-episode, guest-starring role, Urkel was so beloved that 13-year-old Jaleel was given a full-time starring role

Whoa, Mama! Yes, that's Jaleel, non-Urkelized. White graduated from UCLA with a degree in film and television in 2001. Since then, he's kept busy with guest-starring spots on TV and with small movie parts, including roles in "Dreamgirls" and "Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer."
Hallie Kate Eisenberg
Before Jesse Eisenberg was one of Hollywood's big names, his little sister, Hallie, was the famous Eisenberg sibling. She made it big at 6, starring in a popular series of Pepsi commercials in which she channeled the voices of Joe Pesci, Aretha Franklin and more celebs. That success translated into film roles in the late '90s and
early 2000s, including "Paulie," "Bicentennial Man" and "Beautiful." She even played Helen Keller in the TV version of "The Miracle Worker.
In 2010, 18-year-old Hallie co-starred with her big brother in "Holy Rollers," a movie about Hasidic Jews who were recruited as drug mules. She made her Broadway debut in 2011 in Roundabout Theatre's production of "The Women." She's currently attending American University in Washington, D.C.

Later that year, he appeared alongside Tom Hanks in "Forrest Gump" as Forrest Gump Jr. From 1995 to 1998, he starred as Matt Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show." But it was when 11-year-old Haley starred in "The Sixth Sense" in 1999 that he really gained Hollywood's
attention. He was nominated for awards left and right, including an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor
In 2006, Haley pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI and drug possession after hitting a brick mailbox and flipping his car while driving near his home. In 2010, Haley graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Haley will star in the upcoming "Wake the Dead," a modern-day retelling of the Frankenstein story. He can't escape those dead people,
can he?

David made his TV debut when he was three months old on "The Lily Tomlin Special," but his first full-time gig was at age 12, when he landed the role of awkward Bud Bundy on "Married... with Children." The series ran for 10 seasons.
While David kept acting here and there after "Married," music was where his heart was. In the mid-'90s, David started a weekly hip-hop party at Whisky a Go-Go on Sunset Strip called Balistyx, where acts like N.W.A., KRS-One and will.i.am have performed. Now, David raps under the name Lil' Gweed. In May 2007, he was arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana. In
2009, David co-starred with fellow former child star and pal Corin Nemec in the Crackle Web series "Star-ving.
Henry Thomas
Henry's ability to cry on cue won over Steven Spielberg and scored the young actor the part of Elliott in "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial." The 11-year-old won a Golden Globe for Best New Star Actor. He went on to star in movies like "Cloak & Dagger," "The Quest" and "Murder One" in the mid-'80s.
While Henry isn't as famous as his onscreen little sister from "E.T.," Drew Barrymore, he's still a working actor in Hollywood. He starred in "Legends of the Fall," "All the Pretty Horses," "Gangs of New York" and "Dear John." Look for him next year as Philip Whalen in the Jack Kerouac biopic "Big Sur," with Kate Bosworth and Josh Lucas. He is legally separated from his wife, Marie
Zielcke, with whom he has daughter named Hazel.
Jenny Lewis
At age 10, Jenny played Lucille Ball's granddaughter in the short-lived sitcom "Life With Lucy." From there, she starred in late '80s and early '90s teen-fare, including "Troop Beverly Hills," "Foxfire," "Big Girls Don't Cry... They Get Even" and "The Wizard"
Jenny no longer acts, but instead focuses on music. From 1998 to 2011, she was the lead singer of indie rock band Rilo Kiley. She's also released two solo albums. "I'm Having Fun Now," her debut album with Jenny and Johnny -- her band with her boyfriend, Johnathan Rice -- was released in August 2010. Her one return to film was a small voice part in 2008's animated movie "Bolt," for
which she also wrote a soundtrack song.
Danny declared that he's gay in a 1997 interview with National Enquirer. In January 2011, an article on The San Diego Union-Tribune website revealed that Danny was a Tupperware salesman. Hey, Danny, there's no shame in becoming a manny

Keshia Knight-Pulliam
Keshia started acting professionally at age 3, when she got a gig on "Sesame Street." By 4, she was starring alongside Bill Cosby as Rudy, the youngest Huxtable, on "The Cosby Show." At age 6, she was nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress, making her the youngest actress ever up for the honor.
in 2001, Keshia graduated with honors from Spelman College with a B.A. in sociology and a concentration in film, and quickly made her return to Hollywood. Since then, she's appeared in movies like "Beauty Shop" and "Madea Goes to Jail," and she stars on "Tyler Perry's House of Payne."
Tina Majorino
Tina was one of the most sought-after young actresses in Hollywood in the mid-'90s. She got her first big role at 7, playing Sophie Wilder on the short-lived sitcom "Camp Wilder." Things picked up from there, with film roles in "When a Man Loves a Woman," "Corrina, Corrina," "Andre" and "Waterworld." A number of TV movies
followed, including "Before Women Had Wings" with Oprah and "Alice in Wonderland."
After taking a five-year hiatus from Hollywood, Tina starred as Deb in "Napoleon Dynamite" in 2004. She then had recurring roles on both "Veronica Mars" and "Big Love": Cindy "Mac" Mackenzie and Heather Tuttle, respectively. Most recently, she starred in the music video for Pink's "F---in' Perfect."
Miko Hughes
Whether he was making us laugh, scream or cry, Miko was amazing at it, even as a kid. He started acting at age 2 in movies and had projects ranging from "Pet Sematary" to "Kindergarten Cop" and "Jack the Bear." At age 9, he released two albums: "Miko Hughes" and "Halloween Haunts." He also played Michelle's bratty
friend Aaron Bailey on "Full House.
Miko hasn't had as much luck with acting jobs since the turn of the 2000s. His last notable film role was 1998's "Mercury Rising," in which he played an autistic boy.But he is working as a DJ. So there's that.
Charlie Korsmo
Charlie had a whirlwind career in Hollywood, starring in six movies in 1990 and 1991, including "Dick Tracy," "What About Bob?" and "Hook." Pretty impressive for a preteen, huh?
After making a brief return to the big screen in 1998's "Can't Hardly Wait," Charlie left Hollywood for good. He graduated from MIT with a degree in physics. He's worked for the Environmental Protection Agency and the House Select Committee on Homeland Security. In 2006, he graduated from Yale Law School, and he currently teaches law at Case Western Reserve
University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. In May, President Obama nominated Charlie for membership on the Board of Trustees of the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program. Now, that's impressive!
Ben Savage
Ben got his start in Hollywood at age 8 playing his real-life big brother Fred's onscreen little brother in "Little Monsters." But the part that Ben is best known for is on ABC's "Boy Meets World," in which he played main character Cory Matthews for seven years.
In 2003, Ben interned for U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter as part of his studies at Stanford University, from which he graduated in 2004. Since then, he's had a number of guest-starring roles and appeared in movies like "Palo Alto," and the upcoming "Lake Effects" with Jane Seymour.
Jurnee Smollett
It's hard to steal the spotlight from the Olsen twins, but Jurnee did it with ease as Michelle's sassy best friend Denise Frazer on "Full House." Jurnee got her chance to shine on her own when she was 11, playing the title character in 1997's "Eve's Bayou" with Samuel L. Jackson
Jurnee has come a long way from playing second fiddle to MK and Ashley. She co-starred with Denzel Washington in 2007's "The Great Debaters," for which she won a NAACP Image Award for Best Actress. She returned to the small screen to play Jess Merriweather on the critically acclaimed "Friday Night Lights" for the show's final two seasons. She also played Lisa Tyler, a
young lawyer who paid for law school by stripping, in the CBS legal drama "The Defenders" with Jerry O'Connell and James Belushi. In October 2010, Jurnee married musician Josiah Bel

Anna starred as whip-smart Vada Sultenfuss in the "My Girl" movies, beginning in 1991. She also co-starred with fellow child star Christina Ricci in 1995's "Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain." But once she neared adulthood, jobs started drying up
Anna left Hollywood in 1998 to attend University of Chicago, where she majored in international studies. After graduating in 2002, she worked as a fact-checker for Zagat Survey. After a run-in with singer-songwriter Roberta Flack at a nail salon, she decided to make her return to Hollywood in 2007. She returned with stints on "30 Rock" and "Law & Order." Next year, she'll play the
chief of staff in Julia Louis-Dreyfus' new series "Veep." On the personal front, Anna is married to Army reserve member Shaun So.
ichael Fishman
While Michael had no experience, Roseanne Barr snapped him up to play her son on "Roseanne" when he was 6 years old. He continued to work on the show for nine seasons.
In 2002, Michael returned to Hollywood, working mostly behind the scenes. His work on "Sports Science" was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Set Design/Art Direction. Michael is now married with two kids, who we hope are better behaved than Roseanne's kids were.
Peter Billingsley
The holiday season is upon us, so you'll likely be seeing Peter in "A Christmas Story" more than once this season. This blue-eyed, cherubic-faced boy made every kid want a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas. But before he played Ralphie, Peter had starred in over 120 commercials, including the Messy Marvin spots for
Hershey's Chocolate Syrup.
Nowadays, Peter spends more time behind the camera than in front of it. He executive produced "Four Christmases," "Iron Man" and "The Break-Up" -- and gave himself bit parts in each one. He also directed "Couples Retreat" starring Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn.
shley Johnson
For two seasons, Ashley starred as Chrissy Seaver on "Growing Pains," beginning when she was 6 years old. In 1995, she scored the title role in "Annie: A Royal Adventure" and co-starred with Hugh Grant and Julianne Moore in "Nine Months." By the time she played Mel Gibson's teen daughter in "What Women Want" in 2000,
there was no question that this moppet was all grown up.
Ashley is still in Hollywood, but you might not recognize her without her signature curly hair. In 2008, she portrayed a Britney Spears-esque pop star named Sharlee Cates on Courteney Cox's FX show, "Dirt." More recently, she played Mary Beth Caldwell in "The Help" and Amber Ahmed in AMC's crime drama "The Killing."

After "Boy Meets World," Danielle starred in "National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze" and its sequel. In 2007, she became a NutriSystem spokesperson, losing 28 pounds using the program. However, she gained some of the weight back and, in 2010, told People her lowest weight was not maintainable. While she doesn't act much anymore, she hosted "The Dish" for Style Network
from 2008 to 2011. She also starred in a hilarious Funny or Die video earlier this year spoofing her child star status.
Kristy McNichol
Kristy landed her first series regular role at age 12 as Patricia Apple in 1974's "Apple's Way." The show was a bust, but it lined her up to play Buddy in the TV drama "Family" two years later. During her four seasons on "Family," Kristy earned two Emmys for Best Supporting Actress. She later transitioned to movies, starring in
"Little Darlings" with Tatum O'Neal in 1980 and "Only When I Laugh" in 1981. However, her career started to decline from there when she began to spiral out of control
in 1992, Kristy was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which prompted her quit the series she was on at the time, "Empty Nest," and to retire from acting. However, she returned for the show's series finale in 1995, making it her final screen appearance. She also has voiced animated characters on "Extreme Ghostbusters" and "Invasion America." Kristy teaches acting at a private
school in Los Angeles.
Corin Nemec
Corin earned an Emmy nomination at 18 for his portrayal of kidnap victim Steven Stayner in the TV movie "I Know My First Name Is Steven." The following year, he scored the title role in the TV series "Parker Lewis Can't Lose."
When he was done synchronizing his Swatch, Corin joined the rap group Starship of Foolz and released an album, which was produced by Balthazar Getty. Corin's next big TV role was Jonas Quinn in "Stargate SG-1." In 2009, Corin co-starred with fellow former child star and pal David Faustino in the Crackle Web series "Star-ving.
enna von Oy
Jenna (far left) is best known for playing Blossom's fast-talking best friend, Six LeMeure, on "Blossom," a part she played from ages 14 to 18. However, she had various roles before that, including playing young Suzanne Kovic in "Born on the Fourth of July" with Tom Cruise
Jenna took time off to attend film school at University of Southern California after "Blossom," but dropped out to return to acting. After playing Stevie van Lowe on UPN's "The Parkers" and voicing Gracie in the direct-to-DVD "Dr. Dolittle 3," Jenna released her debut country album, "Breathing Room," in September 2007. She married computer data consultant Brad Bratcher in 2010
Robert MacNaughton
Robert (far right) had to audition eight times before scoring the role of older brother Michael in "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial." But it paid off: He won a Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Actor for the role. After "E.T." came out, he starred as Adam Farmer in "I Am the Cheese," based on the novel by Robert Cormier
Robert tried his hand in the theater for a while, but has since left acting altogether. He now works as a mail handler in Jersey City, where he lives with his longtime girlfriend and their son, Noah
Jaimee Foxworth
Jaimee snagged her first acting job at age 10 as Judy Winslow on "Family Matters." However, her success on the show was short-lived. After Season 4, her character was written off the show and never acknowledged again
restraining order against Michael Sr.
Can someone fix this post? The pictures are all messed up and a lot of names are missing the 1st letter.
